Factory 95 - Meet the Developers
Description
The Event: Game Developer Play & Talk - Factory 95
Day and Time: Friday, 25 September | 5:00 - 8:00 pm
Where: Law Building Annex, Lecture Theatre 101
On Friday, 25 September, Factory 95 developers Liam Flannery and John Salvaris from Macrobit Interactive are joining us at USYD for a special play session, developer talk and Q&A.
We’ll kick off the evening by playing Factory 95, an indie automation game that turns a nostalgic Windows 95-inspired desktop into a factory floor, complete with production lines, PowerPoint presentations and plenty of retro fun.
After the play session, Liam and John will take us behind the scenes of Factory 95. They’ll talk about their journey from corporate careers to indie game development, how the game came together, and the creative and technical challenges of building an automation game inside a simulated 1990s operating system.
There’ll also be a Q&A, giving you the chance to ask the developers about the game, game design, indie development, or what it’s actually like to make and release a game!
