*Unfortunately, due to the current lockdown in Melbourne and its subsequent extension, we’ve postponed our ‘In conversation With Social Enterprises In Moreland’ event to the new date of September 16th 2021.

In Conversation with Nick Savaidis from Etiko & Wendy Faire from Global Cafe DirectIn association with Coffex Coffee, Global Café Direct & Etiko, Moral Fairground presents another event as part of our Moreland Series, Fair Espresso Martini Networking; an event celebrating Fairtrade Fortnight Australia. Featuring two extraordinary speakers, Nick Savaidis from Etiko and Wendy Faire from Global Café Direct.

Nick Savaidis
is a long time social entrepreneur having helped establish a number of social enterprises in remote indigenous communities in Australia in the early 1990s. In 2006 via his brand, Etiko, Nick pioneered the idea of selling genuinely ethically made, eco-friendly clothing and footwear in Australia. Wendy Faire has worked in the past as a barista, customer service representative and barista trainer, applying herself to a variety of areas in the industry. Wendy loves the art of coffee making, taking pride in serving the perfect cup, and can still occasionally be seen slinging lattes on the weekend. Currently, she can be found trying her hand at roasting and kicking goals for Coffex Coffee Roasters in Marketing and Events.

Fair Espresso Martini Networking is a small, in-person, networking event that celebrates Fairtrade Fortnight Australia. Fairtrade Fortnight is an annual celebration of people, including farmers and families, who are working to make the world fairer. It’s a great time to reflect on the power of our choices to create a better future for the planet and its people.

On Thursday 16th September 2021, let’s come together to network, celebrate, and share stories of social enterprises in Moreland. Tickets include; a complimentary Fairtrade Coffee Pack, one complimentary Fairtrade Espresso Martini, and complimentary light catering.
