To mark 16 Days of Activism against gender-based violence, we’re shining a spotlight on the power of sports to be a space of inclusion and safety for all in Moonee Valley.

Everyone deserves to feel they are safe and welcome in any space they enter. This extends to our community sports spaces. We share a vision of increasing the participation and genuine inclusion of girls, women and gender diverse people in Moonee Valley sports.

Join Moonee Valley City Council, cohealth, Change Our Game ambassadors, Office for Women in Sport and Recreation, sports inclusion advocates, local sports clubs, and members of the Moonee Valley Family Violence Network for an evening of food, connection, learning, and work-shopping how we can make visions a reality!

‘Fair Ground’ is part of a series of events promoting and raising awareness of the 16 Days of Activism against gender-based violence. The 16 Days of Activism starts on the 25th November the International Day for Elimination of Violence Against Women and ends on the 10th December, International Human Rights Day.
