Fairouz: Turquoise of the East
Description
The World Lebanese Cultural Union of Sydney warmly invites you to Fairouz: Turquoise of the East, an evening dedicated to the woman whose voice became one of Lebanon's most enduring treasures.
Join us at The Lemnos by Clarence House in Belmore on Friday, 30th October 2026 from 6:30pm for a truly memorable evening of song, dance, food and culture. This gala evening will bring together members and friends of the Lebanese community to celebrate the music, memory and extraordinary cultural legacy of iconic singer Nouhad Wadie Haddad, known as Fairouz. More than a tribute to the beloved artist, the evening will honour the place she occupies in the heart of Lebanon and in the lives of Lebanese people across the world.
Enjoy a delectable banquet of exceptional Lebanese cuisine, Lebanese wine & beer, fine spirits, soft drinks, and beloved non-alcoholic specialties.
With music, dancing, and warm community spirit, this promises to be a night to remember. Net proceeds will support our cultural activities and the vulnerable in Lebanon.
We look forward to your company on the night.
