Join the Australian Multicultural GLBTQIA+ Council for a collaborative workshop where we will explore the impact of conversion practices - efforts to change or suppress LGBTQIA+ identities - in multicultural and multifaith communities.

Hear from PhD student Percy Gurtler, who will share insights from their PhD research project on this important topic.

Have you voice heard - help share recommendations for policy, future research and a community report. We will be prioritising the voices of LGBTQIA+ people from multicultural and multifaith backgrounds.

Learn and reflect on how conversion practices affect mental health, identity, and belonging, and how we can support recovery, resilience and acceptance.

This event is free and is open to members of the LGBTQIA+ multicultural and multifaith community, their families, friends, and allies.
