Faking Clever: The neo-post-jangle-cow-punk-revival outfit FAKING CLEVER are something of a generational oddity- like the baby half-sibling born of Australian Rock's second marriage, who is decades younger than their next sibling but part of the family nonetheless. Hailing from the town of Young on Wiradjuri Country in regional NSW, the brothers Cameron (drums) and Rory B. Steele (guitar) were drawn to Sydney's inner west by the jangly guitars of the 90s indie scene, and met a Central Coast lad by the name of Toby Dowdell (bass) who was chasing that same dream. All the while Messrs Steele's redneck past is nipping at their heels, informing their cowpunk sensibilities.

This trio of musos–Randall Blair (The Lonely Fates), Richard Bray & Lachlan Coventry–have made a habit of making questionable life choices. They’ve played in numerous bands, ducked, weaved, seen the dizzy highs & dreaded lows of the music biz. They should know better but old habits die hard.

Influenced by garage-blues, grunge & power-pop, The Bright Shining Lies are ready to shake out their original tunes and see what sticks.

The Missing Lincolns: The Missing Lincolns are a scuzzy, soulful, literate guitar band. They care too much about lyrics and songs on the radio. Their songs are a modern-indie update of the 60s garage sound. The Lincolns have been digging dirt in the Canberra gig circuit since 2003.
