Learning Outcomes
Participants will learn more about the dynamic federal education funding landscape and the potential statutory and regulatory changes that could impact funding and fiscal compliance in 2026. The session is designed to help them establish and improve practices needed to comply with federal requirements related to the following:
Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA)
Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA)
Education Department General Administrative Regulations (EDGAR)
Uniform Grant Guidance
Who Will Benefit
These training courses are designed for state education agencies (SEAs), local education agencies (LEAs), school districts, and charter school staff. Participants can receive Continuing Professional Education (CPE) credits upon completion of the training. The following are also encouraged to attend:
Finance and business officers and their staff
IDEA/Special education directors and their staff
ESSA/Federal program directors and their staff
Superintendents and School Administrators
School Auditors/CPAs
Pricing
Per Individual: $900
Group Rates: $1,800 for 3 Attendees (free registration for the 3rd attendee)
Fee includes access to training sessions and all session materials. Breakfast snacks and lunch will be provided. The Element Scottsdale at Skysong hotel also provides complimentary breakfast.
WestEd is a NASBA-certified continuing professional education (CPE) sponsor. Participants can receive up to eighteen (17) CPE credit hours.
