Fall Equinox Clothing Swap

In collaboration with Jackie Drummond from Interwoven and Color Her Soul, Manos Sagrados is hosting a free Fall Equinox Clothing Swap October 4th 12p-4p. It is an adult clothing and accessories of all sizes, genders, and styles (special request for clothing for pregnant people). Jackie Drummond will be offering minor alterations and repairs for the clothes at the swap. They will also have yoga bolsters for purchase that can be sold stuffed or unstuffed. This creates an option to stuff yourself with old sheets/fabrics that can’t be donated or use the leftover clothing at the end of the swap! People are encouraged to bring items that otherwise can’t be donated for this reason as well (damaged, stained, etc) for textile recycling. Let’s avoid those textiles going to the landfill!

Luna is offering meet up options for donations for folks who cannot attend the event but still want to release the weight of some of their unworn items. We are looking for community partners in the East Colfax area near Manos to be drop off locations over the next few weeks to support the accessibility of the event, please let Luna know if your business would be interested in learning more about this opportunity!
