About the Class

Fall Cooking Class: Roasting Squash Seeds, Making Roasted Butternut Squash & Apple Soup and Homemade Roasted Garlic Toast. Participants will learn how to roast squash seeds with various seasonings, make a roasted butternut squash soup with apples and fall spices, like cinnamon and nutmeg, and roast a head of garlic to make delicious, crunchy, homemade garlic toast with store bought french baguettes.  Participants will be able to take a cup of soup home with them, some garlic toast and a sample of pumpkin seeds, so they should bring appropriate take out containers for all three items.  Participants can purchase a pumpkin for carving at the MAP Farmers Market that evening to take home.
