River Fit Fall: Sunset Yoga with CorePower Yoga
Event description
Center yourself with a FREE sunset yoga class led in partnership with CorePower Yoga. Steady your breaths and stretch out your stresses to the rhythm of the river during golden hour at the park. You won't believe how relaxed you and your body will feel going into Friday! The class is a C2 class, which is a vinyasa flow class.
We encourage participants to registered before every class and to bring their own water bottle and yoga mat. Please cancel if you can no longer attend. Sunset Yoga with CorePower Yoga will take place every Thursday from 5:30pm to 6:15pm starting on October 3 and ending on October 31 on the following dates:

NOTE: There is NO PARKING on the Esplanade. Please plan to arrive via one of the options below:
| WALKING If entering by foot, you can take one of many footbridges to enter the park. They are all noted on this map. Fiedler Field is closest to the Arthur Fiedler Footbridge which is located between Beacon Street and Beaver Place, adjacent to David G Mugar Way. Once in the Esplanade, continue walking straight past the Esplanade Playspace. There will be a footbridge across from the Playspace. Continue across that footbridge, Fiedler Field will be across from a dock next to a statue of head. |
| MBTA Fiedler Field is a ten-minute walk from the Arlington MBTA Station (Green Line) and a ten minute walk from the Charles / MGH MBTA Station (Red Line). Find all of the nearby stations on this map. |
| BLUE BIKES Pick up a Bluebike at any station around Boston, Brookline, Cambridge and Somerville and return to a station located conveniently near the Hatch Shell. Find locations on the System Map or mobile app. The closest Blue Bikes station is located where Beacon Street meets David Mugar Way, in front of Beacon Street access to the Arthur Fiedler Footbridge. |

We started out with a belief that yoga can transform you—on and off the mat.
When a serious climbing accident left him with six permanent screws in his shattered ankle, CorePower Yoga Founder and CEO Trevor Tice experienced first-hand the transformational benefits of yoga. An avid outdoorsman from Telluride, CO, Trevor was left searching for an exercise to replace the running, climbing and other physically challenging activities that were no longer accessible to him. He found yoga, and was hooked.
Traveling for his technology business, Trevor practiced a variety of yoga disciplines at yoga studios across the country and found an opportunity to make yoga dynamic, challenging and convenient.
In 2002, Trevor opened the first CorePower Yoga studio on Grant Street in downtown Denver, CO, offering a proprietary form of athletic, heated yoga in modern, welcoming and spa-like studios. With six teachers, including Trevor, teaching four classes per day, it took several arduous months before classes began to fill up. But they did. And it wasn’t long before people were talking about this new yoga.
