What is the Kabbalah, and how can we make sense of the complex diagram of the Tree of Life?

Traditional Kabbalah texts are often dry, obscure, and impossibly complex. When we take a Pagan and embodied approach the Tree of Life opens up as a whole landscape – one that we can enter into for study, to understand ourselves and the world, and to make magic.

The Tree of Life is not just a magical diagram, but a whole philosophy and way of understanding the universe. Most importantly it describes the
relationship of the divine to the human, and of the human to the divine.

This is an introductory talk and will include time for questions, as well as readings by the author. Copies of Jane’s books will be available for purchase and signing.

Experiencing the Tree of Life

In this one hour session we will experience how Kabbalah can touch our lives.

Experience a trance journey through all ten sephirot of the Tree of Life – the ten realms that describe different ways of understanding the universe and that, together, illustrate the magical philosophy of Kabbalah. We will also examine how polarities work within the Tree of Life working with Chesed and Gevurah – two sephirot that are both more opposite, and
more tightly bound together than any other pair. From this point we reflect on the balance within our own personalities and how we live our lives.
