Join us for Storytime at Playgroup this families week, celebrating My Family, Our Neighbourhood.
Hosted at the beautiful Kimberley Reserve, Bondi Beach Playgroups, Waverley Library and Waverley Council Family and Support Services are collaborating for an event focused on celebrating the diversity of all families.
Families week is Australia's annual celebration of families. The aim of the week is to celebrate the vital role families play in Australian society; the importance of teaching, supporting and nurturing children as they grow.
Playgroup is a place where families and young children can connect, play and build thriving social networks; to be apart of a resilient and creative community. Families week is a time to celebrate your family and connect with others, at playgroup and throughout your community.
Everyone is welcome at this event - children, siblings, cousins, parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles and chosen family. However your family looks, we will celebrate with you to feel seen, valued and supported.
