    Event description

In total, 410 people died by suicide in WA in 2017. Among them were 124 women and children. Of that group, 68% were recorded as victims of domestic violence. Furthermore following the November 2023 release of the Western Australian Ombudsman report investigating family and domestic violence and suicide, we want to continue this important conversation and aim to share current best practices and resources for the community.

Neami’s Suicide Prevention Coordinators welcome you to hear from key Domestic and Family Violence (DFV) leaders in the space to learn more about what is happening in the FDV landscape and the intersectionality of Mental Health/Suicide Prevention in Perth.

Free parking is available onsite, with ACROD bays available. The venue is accessible and has accessible toilets.

Light morning tea will be provided.
