Family ART Class: Painting Ocean Creatures

Welcome to Love My Plants School Holiday workshops for Families!
Brought to you By Jess of "Alchemy of Arts".

This workshop is designed for Parents/Guardians & kids between the ages of 5-12 years old (primary school age) although if you have a keen child under the age of 5 that you would like to attend that is possible as long as you think they will sit for the duration of the class.

All kids must have a guardian present for the duration of class. there will be fun activities for you to do with the kids.

Workshop Details:
Duration: 1 hour
Materials: All painting materials provided
- Paint
- Canvas
- Painting & technical equipment.
Take home: A completed Painting on canvas.

Costing:
Adult Pass: $5

Single Kids Pass: $15

Double Kids Pass: $25

Triple Kids Pass: $35

4 Kids Pass: $45

Maximum of 10 students per class, bookings essential.

What the kids will learn:
- How to use painting equipment correctly
- Painting techniques
- How to mix colours
- What Warm and Cool colours are
- How to create abstract art using simple techniques
- A creative process

Recommended clothing/attire: Painting with kids gets messy, please have the children dressed in clothes you don't mind them accidentally getting some paint on and recommended they bring a painting smock or an old oversized t-shirt will do. Closed in footwear also recommended.

About your teacher:
Jessica.Co is a Creative professional holding s bachelor's degree in Creative Industries and working on various projects in the creative sector locally.
From 2019 - 2020, Jess was the 2IC at Active OOSH in lake Cathie, specializing in kids mindfulness & creative projects.
Jess has also been a professional Kids face painter for 12 years and ran a stall at the Olive tree markets for that amount of time, along with hosting kids parties and other various Kids craft activities.

Jessica holds current certification and paperwork for working with children, First Aid for children, children protection reporting & kids mindfulness, and yoga instructing.

Workshop location & parking:

Address: Love My Plants Store, 101 Newcastle Street, East Maitland.

Parking: is to the rear of the store, access via Courtlands St, you will see a GREEN "Love My Plants" sign on car park entrance. you can access the store via the front or back entrance.

The workshop is hosted UPSTAIRS within the Love My Plants store, Unfortunately, we do not have wheelchair access to this area.

IMPORTANT: Please advise us of any necessary medical or health issues your child has prior to the day if it will affect their ability to participate in the activity.

Please do not bring along any food/snacks for your child (to avoid allergy issues) but you can bring some water in a water bottle along for them.
