Our next Family Connect Evening is happening soon, and you’re so welcome to join us!

These evenings, hosted by our amazing local sponsor Look Who’s Talking, are all about bringing families together in a relaxed and supportive space to connect, learn and share.

This month we’ll hear from Clinic Director, Sarah Teoh, who will be speaking about the early intervention program developed by the Australian Government. This important initiative provides foundational, community-based supports for children aged 0–8 with mild to moderate developmental delays or autism - outside of the NDIS.

It’s a wonderful chance for local families to:
Learn more about what this means for early support services
Ask questions and feel empowered with knowledge
Connect with other families and meet some of the lovely LWT team

This is a free community event, with drinks and light refreshments provided.

Here's what we do to ensure you feel as comfortable as possible at Social Mums Club Events…

- We tend to keep our events small - so you don't have to walk into a big group

- We have really clear signage, and the host wears a bright pink t-shirt so you can easily spot us - you don't have to worry that you might be in the wrong place or with the wrong group

- Our events are never cliquey - the ladies at the event are usually meeting for the very first time, so you will not be the only person who doesn't know anyone

- You can come early - we know the hardest part about turning up to an event is walking in. We invite anyone who is anxious to reach out to the host and turn up 15 minutes early so you are the first one there. You can sit next to the host too.

- We ensure you feel included - another fear is that nobody will talk to you or you'll feel awkward or different. Our hosts are experts at making every attendee feel welcome and included. You will feel at ease with us.
