Family Friends pres. DJ Nobu

After a brief hiatus Family Friends is back with another bonafide master session.

Japan’s universally respected techno pioneer - DJ Nobu takes over Sub Club, Saturday 11th June for an all night journey through abstract sonics. 

The definition of a fearless selector, an extended set from DJ Nobu is an absorbing and adventurous aural experience. Founder of the fabled Future Terror club night - a party many have attempted to replicate, along with his cult Bitta imprint - a personal playground for sound experimentation - the name DJ Nobu is synonymous with quality clubbing know-how. 

DJ Nobu’s approach is both singular and ever-changing, constantly modified and adjusted to the quality and the concept of each gig he plays. Gliding through bent techno, minimal melodies and dashes of crooked electro, he keeps it fiercely underground, probing and mutating the club room’s atmosphere. It is this ability that makes him a revered stand out.
