For Adults and Seniors
This is a one-on-one research support service for family history researchers. Whether you are just starting out or need some help to solve your next riddle. The Belmont Museum Team can help you with your research by showing you how to find records, how to interpret what you find and planning the next steps in your research.
This service is offered in the Peg Parkin Local History Room at the Belmont Museum. Our resources include: Find My Past, Ancestry Library Edition, as well as other online platforms such as Find a Grave and FamilySearch. Additionally, we offer a collection of genealogy books and reference guides for your use.
Please bring any relevant documents, records, or photographs that may assist with your research.
Bookings are essential. If you cannot register online, please contact the library on (08) 9477 7150 for assistance.

If you cannot make it to the event, please cancel your ticket to ensure your spot is allocated to someone on the waitlist

Family history sessions may include discussion and images related to sensitive topics such as death, and other distressing subjects. Viewer discretion is advised, and please be mindful of your own emotional well-being while attending this event.
