    Event description

    Providing an understanding of dementia, what happens to a person when they develop dementia and communication skills.

    About this Event

    This one day course is suitable for people who know or care for a person with dementia (not suitable for people with a diagnosis of dementia). It is designed to give an understanding of dementia, what happens to a person when they develop dementia and how to communicate with and support a person with dementia.

    The workshop is from 9.00am - 4.00pm (lunch provided). Topics include Understanding Dementia and Living with Dementia.

    Lunch will be provided on the day which will consist of a mixture of sandwiches (including vegetarian and gluten-free options). Please note we are unable to cater for any other dietary requirements.

    Please note that registration is essential. Social distancing measures will be in place for this event.
