Description

๐ŸŒฟ Family Nature Program - Harcourt

Come and play, create and connect with nature and community!

Join us for six special nature-based gatherings for families with children aged 0-5 years from Harcourt and surrounding areas.

Through nature play, storytelling, clay, art, music and seasonal discoveries, we'll explore the changing landscape, learn about local wildlife and enjoy time together on Djaara Country.

Part of the Harcourt bushfire recovery initiative, this program offers a welcoming space to build friendships, reconnect with nature and grow together as a community.

โค๏ธ Shaped by our community

This program has been developed with local families. Special thanks to Cecelia Aull, local parent and outdoor educator, and little Annabelle and Jordan for helping shape the program and create our beautiful logo!

Ann Ferguson - Local artist, kindergarten teacher and creative education specialist, passionate about connecting children with nature through clay and sensory art.

Trace Balla - Award-winning children's author, illustrator and story catcher, inspiring connection to Country through storytelling, drawing and nature journalling.

Aurora Ricci - Early childhood and sustainability educator, passionate about children as agents of change and building family resilience through nature-based learning.

We'll also enjoy music and singing with Jess Teague, a local parent and family day care educator.

Our facilitators share a deep respect for First Nations knowledge and caring for Country. We thank the Elders and First Nations people who generously share their wisdom, which we hope to honour through listening and learning together.
