Our annual Family Puppet Festival Day is back! Join us for a wonderful opportunity where families come together and enjoy a day filled with interactive activities, puppet creation stations, and performances, while celebrating the art of puppetry.

Event Highlights:
Live Performances: Get ready for an unforgettable adventure with Kiki the Eco Elf! Through wildly imaginative storytelling, mesmerizing multi-instrumental music, and high-energy interactive games, Kiki brings the stage to life with a powerful, earth-conscious message. Her dynamic performances blend music education, environmental awareness, and healthy living into an explosion of creativity, laughter, and thought-provoking fun!
With an ecological twist, Kiki ignites the imaginations of audiences young and old, inspiring them to take action while embracing their inner child. Step inside the belly of a giant inflatable salmon and embark on a thrilling journey through the salmon’s life cycle. Dive into multicultural tales, sing along with ocean songs, and discover essential lessons on water conservation and protecting our planet.
Live Performance Show Times: 11:15 AM and 2:00 PM
Puppetry Work Station: Following the show, participants of all ages can learn some tricks of the trade of puppetry, while creating their own simple puppet to take home and bring it to life!
Community Guests: Take time to interact with the community, including the Flight Hangar Museum, the Calgary Library Book Truck, University of Calgary neuroscientists, henna artist, local vendors, drop by puppet making and more!
Concession and Cupcakes: All this activity will be sure to get tummies rumbling, so stop by our concession to purchase a snack, or Crumb and Co.'s cupcake stand for a sweet treat.
Tickets: $10 for adults, $5 for kids.
Fair Entry: Adults with the Calgary Fee Assistance accommodation can purchase tickets for $5. Please show proof of your assistance at the door.
Accessibility: Wheelchair access to building. Bus #4/5 route stops across the street with Bus #414 also stoping nearby.
Please note: Only the indoor activities are ticketed - this includes the performance by Kiki The Elf and related puppet making activity. All other outdoor activities are FREE of charge.
