Ashram Adventures: A Family Weekend of Yoga & Discovery
Event description
Nestled on 140 forested acres in the mountains of Maine, Sat Manav Yoga Ashram offers a rare weekend designed to restore, inspire, and unify your whole family. Step away from the noise, scattered energy, and screen-filled days and return to something real, time-tested, and deeply fulfilling.
Here, Yoga isn’t just a class—it’s how we live.
You’ll move, breathe, chant, and BE together. You’ll learn as a family how rhythm, focused attention, and shared purpose can strengthen every relationship.
Children of all ages will experience the joy of clear structure, meaningful contribution, and healthy (very yummy) food—guided by Ashram youth who live this way every day. Parents will receive real tools to bring calm, clarity, and a healthy routine into the home—and can enjoy a massage or our traditional wood-fired sauna.
You’ll eat vibrant, plant-based meals made with care and intention—meals your kids will actually love—and leave with fresh ideas and renewed momentum for your family’s wellness path.
This is a weekend held in authentic Yogic lineage, shaped by daily practice, and shared across generations.
Come experience:
Morning Yoga and breathwork, led by Yogis who are experienced in making it engaging and meaningful for all ages
Guided family meditation (as well as time for parents to enjoy meditation without the kids)
Nature walks exploring sacred trails and miles of forest paths
Hands-on Ashram life—join our Ashram family for meals, seva (selfless service), chanting, and joyful togetherness
Open play, creative learning, and meaningful rest
Drum Classes, Henna Tattoos, Epic Story Time, Live Music and Dancing and More!
Come as a family—and leave as a stronger one.
This retreat is an invitation to experience something rare: not just time together, but a way to live well together. We hope you’ll join us!
