Family spotlight walk
Description
Curious what animals are out and about in the night, who makes that sound and what is splashing in the creek?
Join Council Biodiversity officers for a free family friendly night walk at Eltham Lower Park.
We will listen for frogs, keep an eye out for ripples from Platypus and search the trees for Gliders and Owls, while learning about how we can care for and look after our amazing native animals.
This walk will be supervised by Council officers, but we ask all children to be accompanied by adults or guardians.
Please bring:
Warm clothing
Sturdy Shoes (we will be on a path, but we may go across country if we spot something interesting!)
Torch or Head torch
Binoculars (if you have some, they are great)
We are committed to creating an inclusive and accessible event environment for all attendees. If you have accessibility or inclusion requirements regarding this event, please contact us about how we can help on environment@nillumbik.vic.gov.au.
