Family Support Services

It is never too early to start preparing the future for your child with special needs Planning is possible and necessary

The Arc of San Antonio is partnering with the Down Syndrome Association of South Texas to help families with the following services:

* Navigating support systems to plan for the future

* Understanding the Medicaid Waiver “interest lists”

* Locating medical equipment, supplies, and therapies

* Identifying parent support groups, respite, and recreation programs

* Help you confirm connections with appropriate agencies

Family Support Service Coordinators from The Arc of San Antonio will meet individually with parents at our location. They will gather basic information about your child with special needs, provide resources that are currently available and be a resource for future needs. Appointments will last about one hour.

Please note:

* The number of tickets allowable is set to 1, so only one family can sign up for each session. Please list any additional attendees in the space provided.

** Bring your child’s Social Security number and Medicaid number, if available (this information is needed to be placed on the interest lists).
