Family Twilight Experience

Bring the family and a torch, for an exciting twilight walk through Rio Tinto Naturescape Kings Park. 

Learn about animals that glow in the gloom, dig in the dark and call out in the twilight! 

Check out the insect observatory, search the treetops, bushland and billabong for some native nocturnal friends.  Reflect on your adventure with a hot drink and toasted marshmallows around the campfire. Then create a nature craft as a memento of your night. A perfect evening for everyone!

This family activity is suitable for children 4 years and over.

Dates: Wednesday 24 September & Wednesday 1 October

Time: 6.00pm - 8.30pm

Location: Meet at The Green Room, Kings Park Education Centre

Cost: Bookings $25 per person or $80 for a family ticket. Please note a family ticket can cover either 2 adults & 2 children, or 1 adult & 3 children.

Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times. 

Please ensure you arrive on time for a prompt start, appropriately dressed for the prevailing weather conditions. 

Bring your own torch, and enclosed footwear is essential.  

Natural hazards occur and pathways maybe uneven. 

Please book carefully, ticket sales are non-refundable. 

This is an outside venue. Programs will proceed in most weather conditions. In cases of Severe Weather Warning or Extreme Fire Danger, Kings Park will notify ticket holders of any cancellation. A full refund will be provided.
