***This event will be run in line with the Victorian Government’s pandemic order and following instruction from the Minister for Health. This means that all attendees over the age of 18 will need to show proof of vaccination or valid exemption certificate prior to entry. While we respect everyone’s personal choices and do not wish to discriminate if either charity was to be subject to a fine for non compliance it would be the Gippsland Families we support who would suffer.

ABOUT OLIVIA'S PLACE

Olivia’s Place is a not-for-profit charity that supports a large number of Gippsland families each financial year, re homing nursery, maternity and infant related items, as well as providing mentoring and education to help make their parenting journey easier. Our belief is that ‘it takes a village to raise a family’. In the last financial year Olivia’s Place have helped over 180 families through direct contact and support, as well as provision of relief items such as infant and maternity clothing, cots, prams, car restraints, nappies, wipes and other essentials to the value of over $100,000.

ABOUT GIPPSLAND RHYTHM & WINGS

Gippsland Rhythm and Wings is a not-for-profit charity helping Gippsland families who have a child affected by heart disease or who have lost a child to heart disease. This charity was inspired by the journey of Aiden and his dedicated Mum, Lisa, who have been on the roller-coaster of dealing with Childhood Heart Disease (CHD) for more than 12 years. Lisa started out by raising funds for national charity, Heart Kids Victoria but went on to start Gippsland Rhythm & Wings as there is a lack of physical support groups in Gippsland and the motivation for starting this charity is to keep the funds local, to support Gippsland families.
