Join us for a special FANS fundraising soirée featuring an exclusive cinema screening of the breathtaking documentary Nature – The Call for Reconciliation.

FANS has generously been given exclusive screening rights for this film, which is not otherwise available in cinemas. Directed by internationally acclaimed French filmmaker Yann Arthus-Bertrand, this visually stunning documentary offers a powerful and poetic reflection on humanity’s relationship with the natural world.

Presented in French with English subtitles, this is a rare opportunity to experience this beautiful and thought-provoking film on the big screen.

Speaker Panel – FANS Ed Talks series launch

The screening also launches the new FANS Ed Talks series, a guest speaker initiative highlighting inspiring individuals who explore themes of education, bilingualism, and global thinking.
Attendees are invited to a panel discussion with guest speakers:

·         Thierry Lotrian, Founder and CEO of Climate & Decisions, a specialist advisory firm on climate risk and sustainability.

·         d’Arcy Lunn of Teaspoons of Change, a humanitarian, educator, and lifelong learner with experience in over 90 countries.

·         Jenni Philippe, an Ambassador for People For Nature, advocating for biodiversity, climate, and circular economy education.

Family-Friendly Note:
Nature – Pour une Réconciliation (Nature – The Call for Reconciliation) is a beautiful and educational documentary suitable for general audiences. The film explores humanity’s relationship with the natural world and environmental themes.

While the film is not rated in Australia, as a guideline it is recommended as a PG (Parental Guidance) film, for children aged 12 and above who will appreciate the stunning visuals and the thought-provoking message. Some children may find the length (1h45) and complex topics challenging.

    An Australian-qualified educator and communications specialist, d'Arcy Lunn is a presenter, volunteer, nomad, and passionate advocate for a world without extreme poverty. Over the past 25 years, he has travelled to more than 100 countries and, since 2009, has delivered over 2,200 presentations and workshops to more than 180,000 people, drawing on collaborations with organisations such as UNICEF, the Gates Foundation, Project Everyone, Global Citizen, and the Dulwich International Schools Network. As the founder of initiatives including Teaspoons of Change, Happy-Simply, Teaspoons of Peace, and Polio Points, his work is driven by a deep commitment to equality, justice, and global awareness, inspired by the diverse communities and cultures he has had the privilege to learn from.

    Jenni Philippe

    With over 18 years of leadership driving innovation and large‑scale systems change, Jenni brings deep expertise in translating complex sustainability challenges into clear, actionable pathways for impact. At People for Nature, she leads circular economy education, empowering communities with the knowledge and tools to protect ecosystems and accelerate meaningful environmental action.

    Thierry Lotrian

    Thierry Lotrian is the Founder and CEO of Climate & Decisions, a specialist advisory firm supporting organisations on climate risk, sustainability regulation, and strategic transition. He works with executive and board teams to prepare for ASRS mandatory disclosures, building the governance, data, and control frameworks required to deliver audit-ready, investor-grade reporting. Thierry was a Partner at Deloitte and has held senior leadership roles at SAP and Capgemini, advising major organisations on risk, finance transformation, technology implementation, and regulatory change. He brings deep expertise at the intersection of sustainability, finance, and AI, helping organisations embed climate risk into enterprise risk management and strategic decision-making.

Event Terms & Conditions

1. Tickets
All tickets must be purchased in advance through Humanitix. Tickets are subject to availability and the venue capacity.

2. Fundraising Event
This event is a FANS fundraising event, and proceeds support the activities and programs of the FANS French Bilingual Program and community.

3. Film Screening
Your ticket includes entry to the exclusive screening of Nature – Pour une Réconciliation (Nature – The Call for Reconciliation), presented in French with English subtitles.

4. Event Inclusions
Each ticket includes:

  • Entry to the event

  • One welcome drink

  • Light nibbles prior to the screening

  • Access to the film screening

  • Access to the post-screening Q&A panel discussion

Additional drinks or refreshments may be purchased separately from the cinema if available.

5. Refunds and Transfers
Tickets are non-refundable, except in the case that the event is cancelled or significantly rescheduled by the organiser. If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your ticket to another person.

6. Event Changes
The organiser reserves the right to make changes to the event schedule, speakers, or program if required due to circumstances beyond our control.

7. Photography and Media
Photos or video may be taken during the event for promotional purposes by FANS. By attending the event, you consent to the use of images in which you may appear in FANS communications and promotional materials.

8. Behaviour and Venue Policies
All attendees must comply with venue policies and behave respectfully. The organiser and venue reserve the right to refuse entry or remove attendees whose behaviour is disruptive or inappropriate.

9. Liability
Attendees participate in the event at their own risk. To the extent permitted by law, the organisers are not responsible for personal injury, loss, or damage to personal property during the event.
