Create your own colourful creature artwork to take home! Brainstorm a brand new fantasy critter using some illustrative idea generation, learn about colour theory and unconventional art materials, and then bring your creation to life using oil pastels and paint markers on a cut-out cardboard base. You’ll end up with a personal cardboard creature to hang on your wall or use as a giant monster minifig in your next Dungeons and Dragons campaign!

🌀 Brainstorming and illustrating fantasy creatures

🌀 Executing a visual concept from initial idea to completed artwork

🌀 Learning to use different art mediums and how they work on an unconventional canvas (cardboard)

All materials will be provided.

Anyone under the age of 14 must be attended by a parent or guardian.

Please note that this event will be photographed for the purpose of documentation and may be used for marketing purposes. If you do not wish to be photographed, notify a Portal team member!
