Far Away
Event description
Far Away
by Caryl Churchill
Acclaimed as one of Churchill's most influential and disturbing works, Far Away is set in a dystopian future which seems too close for comfort. Lyrical and unsettling, Far Away depicts the end result of a world which is focussed on war-like binaries and conspiracy theories. Simon Stephens claimed it is "the most significant play of this millennium ... astonishingly prescient in its depiction of a culture on the cusp of apocalypse."
Performed by Third year Theatre and Performance students Megan Carlson, Autumn George, Brooke Ratcliffe and Adrian Smith. Directed by Jane Woollard.
By arrangement with Origin Theatrical Pty Ltd
