Kink Out has our sights set on big dreams for NYC leather events in 2024. We miss sharing space and building community with you; and after years of small, virtual, and/or non-NYC events, we are ready to throw down on our home turf. While our exploits have historically been funded out-of-pocket or through institutions (hey MoMA, hey MoCA), we’re now asking our community to contribute to our vision for the future. And what better place to do that then the sacred stomping ground that was The Hellfire Club (read about, it, here, plus photos). The bar that now holds that space is closing for good as the building is being gut renovated, so our energetic ties to that era are fading. It’s time for one last leather night to send the space on its way.

We are calling all leatherdykes, SWers, kinky freaks, and beloved deviants to help us create Kink Out’s future at this beloved memorial to our past. Commune with leather ancestors and living peers. Bless this cellar that has seen so much with your own leather and heat. Listen for the sounds of scenes past still echoing in the arched ceiling, and add a few more of your own. Whatever you do, just do not let anything touch that infamous floor. 

While primarily a social mixer and not a play party, it will be our private space for the night and cruising/flagging are heavily encouraged. So, if you feel moved by the vibes in this hallowed hole underground, please review the detailed Venue Policies below.

In purchasing a ticket, you agree to these KINK OUT COMMUNITY AGREEMENTS.

$20 General Admission - 1st Release
$25 General Admission - 2nd Release

What to Expect:

• Leather babes, SWers, dykes, fags, rubber lovers, queers
• Bootblacking by Star, Nogga, and Riley Ocean
  
• A raffle to win New York Toy Collective vibes, KO merch, and a double beatdown scene with Bridget and Empress Wu
• A space to share and listen to Hellfire Club stories from those who were there back in the day
• Merch
• Cruising

Consent & Safety:

• This is a private, ticketed fundraising party. While it's not a play party, we entrust all guests to communicate effectively and play responsibly if you get into it. 
• Pay attention to both verbal and non-verbal cues when cruising. If someone seems uninterested, move on.
• Grab a Kink Out worker if you need support.
• If there is someone in the space who seems “off”, please let a Kink Out worker know.

Venue Play Policies:

• No blood play, watersports, fking, full nudity (aka keep it to code!)
• No play in the immediate bar area
• No sitting or standing on the bar
• No smoking or vaping inside
• Respect (and tip) the venue workers (aka do our collective best to ensure everyone present has a great night)
  

Photos & Videos: 

• Get consent before taking anyone’s photo or recording video, including those in the background. 
• If you aren’t able to get consent from those in the background, keep them out of frame.
• Get consent from anyone in a photo or video before you share it or post it to the public domain.

COVID Protocol:

• Must be vaccinated + boosted
• Take a COVID test (PCR or rapid) within 3 hours of the event
• Masks encouraged and available at the door
• If you are feeling ill, please stay home

Accessibility:

• The entrance has two sets of stairs, both have railings/things to grab. (e.g. to enter from the street, it's down approx. 10 steps, through a door, then down approx. 4 steps)
• The bathrooms can be accessed via a ramp
• No grab bars in the bathrooms
  
• There are plenty of chairs, stools, and cushioned benches
• The space is air conditioned

Contributions:

• Though we regularly fundraise for other orgs, this time we're raising funds for Kink Out, to ensure our future events are produced sustainably. 
• If you can't join us on the night, but feel moved to contribute to our future projects, please make a donation via the ticket page!
• We have a handful of free tickets available for folks who can sign up for a 1-hour volunteer shift on the door or merch table.
