Parking and Public Transport
All day parking is available in the car park directly across from the Convent on St Heliers Street. The machines accept credit cards only.
We strongly encourage carpooling or catching a taxi/Uber, as the carpark tends to fill up quickly.
Abbotsford Convent is accessible via train, bus, and tram, with the closest stations being Collingwood or Victoria Park (train) and the Clarke St/Johnston St stop (bus). The 200 or 207 bus from the city is often the most direct method, dropping passengers 3–5 minutes away.
Accessibility
The Convent’s outdoor spaces are wheelchair accessible. Gender-neutral and accessible toilets are available at several locations within the Abbotsford Convent Precinct, including the Rosina Room.
The Rosina Room is accessible via the Courtyard entry.
The following accessible parking spaces are available for use by holders of a Disabled Persons permit:
Two two-hour accessible on-street parking spaces are located on St Heliers Street, beside Gate One.
Six accessible parking places are located at the front of the car park on the northern side of St Heliers Street.
