Farm Dinners with Elie Assaf, Lebanese Grocer

Farm Dinners is an outdoor pop-up dining experience at Kelmarna Community Farm, inviting our favourite chefs to celebrate the bounty of our land.

Join us for a seasonal Lebanese mezze feast in collaboration with Kelmarna Farms. Elie Assaf and the team from Lebanese Grocer will serve a shared two-course menu celebrating fresh garden produce, vibrant mezze, house-made dips and warm flatbreads, followed by a fire-cooked protein.

Designed to be generous, communal and relaxed, the evening brings together Lebanese flavours and local produce, finishing with a special sweet inspired by Lebanese Grocer favourites.

About Elie Assaf:

After working across leading kitchens including Five Boroughs, Milenta, and Williams Eatery, Elie returned to the flavours of his upbringing through time spent cooking with family in Lebanon and documenting cherished recipes.

That journey comes full circle with Lebanese Grocer, his Pitt Street venture off Karangahape Road. Part grocer, part deli, part eatery, it offers the foods of a Lebanese household - from house-made hummus, shawarma and ba’alawa to carefully sourced pantry staples. It is Elie’s most personal project yet: a taste of home, brought to Auckland.
