Event Description

Step into an evening of hope, inspiration and community at the 2026 Farm in Galong Gala Dinner — a special fundraising event dedicated to restoring lives and supporting women and children on their journey to recovery.

Hosted on Saturday, 2nd May 2026, at the Olympus Room, Hellenic Club Woden, this elegant gala dinner will bring together community leaders, supporters, businesses and change makers who share a commitment to helping break the cycle of addiction and rebuilding families. Guests will enjoy a beautifully curated two-course dinner with welcome drinks, inspiring stories, live entertainment and opportunities to contribute to this life-changing cause through fundraising activities during the evening.

The theme for the evening is “Wildflower – For Revival & Recovery”, celebrating the resilience and strength of the women supported by The Farm in Galong, a residential rehabilitation program helping women recover from alcohol and drug misuse while working to reunite families and rebuild lives.

A highlight of the evening will be powerful reflections from our guest speakers:

  • Richard Refshauge, is a former ACT Supreme Court Judge and Director of Public Prosecutions with a long-standing commitment to justice, community service and the arts. He now chairs Directions Health Services and serves on the board of The Farm in Galong, supporting recovery and community well being. Richard will share insights on resilience, leadership and supporting stronger communities.

  • Kate Cleary, Founder and CEO of The Farm in Galong, whose vision and dedication have created a unique recovery program providing women with the opportunity to heal, rebuild their lives and reconnect with their children.

With 200 guests expected, the evening offers a meaningful opportunity to connect with passionate supporters, hear firsthand stories of transformation, and play a direct role in helping women reclaim their futures.

Every ticket purchased and every dollar raised helps sustain the vital work of The Farm in Galong, supporting recovery programs, education, counselling, parenting support and pathways to employment and independence.

Join us for an unforgettable evening where compassion meets action — and together we help restore hope, dignity and opportunity for women and their families.
