Come and meet the Farm My School team and special guests -

Costa Georgiadis (Gardening Australia), Matt Germanchis (Captain Moonlite) and Jo Barrett (Little Picket).

Farm My School has proudly partnered with Bellarine Community Health and Bellarine Secondary College to make this pilot project a reality.

Food will be sold onsite. There will be coffee, food trucks and treats as well as local music, guest speakers, the chance to engage with the local community and of-course celebrate what Farm My School have achieved so far.

This is a zero waste event. Please bring a water bottle, picnic and picnic blanket and/or chairs.

It is also an all weather outdoor event. Please come dressed in weather appropriate clothes - jackets, beanies etc.

Farm My School

Farm My School is a not-for-profit association, working to transform unused land within schools, into regenerative market gardens providing food to the local community. With the aim of developing urban farming that connects farmers with schools, the program brings local food production back into the heart of our communities. The program promotes healthy eating, ecological stewardship and connected communities. By transforming urban spaces, Farm My School utilises permaculture principles, inspiring students to care for the Earth, themselves and the people around them.

Formidable Vegetable

From a small town in Western Australia to the glory of the World stage, Formidable Vegetable is sowing the garden of our minds with the seeds of change to Turnip the Beets for people, plants and the Planet.

Originated in 2012 by ukulele-strumming ecological edutainer Charlie Mgee, the band has organically grown their dedicated following over the years on a mission to inspire local action for global issues and now find themselves firmly planted in the fertile soils of the growing regenerative movements worldwide.
