As part of Good Soil: Farm. Table. Beast, we’re opening the gates to The Falls Farm — offering a limited series of guided tours that take you behind the scenes of where it all begins.

Hop on the bus from Mapleton Public House and step into the landscape that underpins the entire Good Soil experience.

Led by our head farmers, these intimate one-hour tours will walk you through the workings of a regenerative farm at its winter peak, from soil health and growing practices to the incredible diversity of produce coming out of the ground right now.

You’ll see firsthand how the ingredients featured across the festival are grown, harvested and cared for, and gain a deeper understanding of the connection between farm, kitchen and plate.

Each guest will also receive a small take-home gift; a little piece of the farm to continue the story.

Tour Details

🕐 Tours run for 1 hour
🚌 Depart Mapleton Public House: 9:45am, 10:45am, 11:45am
🌿 Tour times at the farm: 10am, 11am, 12pm
💰 Adults $20 | Children $5 | Under 2 free (on laps)

Please note this is a working farm experience. The tour involves walking across uneven ground and varied terrain, so we recommend comfortable footwear and a reasonable level of mobility.

Places are limited for each tour.

After your visit, return to Mapleton Public House to dive back into Good Soil: Farm. Table. Beast — with local producers, live music/entertainment, and plenty to eat and drink.
