Syntropic farming is all about harnessing the power of plants to drive soil fertility, build organic carbon, increase biodiversity and produce food for sale and/or self-sufficiency.

Diverse layers of production crops, support crops and local native trees are strategically planted along rows. The plots are then carefully managed through selective chop and drop techniques helping to create mulch in-situ and guide the system through the various growth phases.

These systems pride themselves on minimal external inputs and is mostly driven by the plants, labour, and a few basic tools. No need for harmful chemicals, expensive irrigation systems or heavy machinery.

Another benefit of these systems is that with the right planning and management, plots can be transitioned into native bushland or integrated with livestock or other forms of horticulture.
