Alternative Fashion Society aims to create a space for students who are passionate about alternative fashion - that is, fashion from niche subcultures like goth, decora, fairy kei, punk etc. that does not fit into the mainstream and can often be daunting to wear. We aim to create a club where students passionate about these fashion subcultures can meet and befriend one another, fostering a community for alt-fashion lovers in UNSW, and to also hold a space where such students can not only engage with events and media specifically related to alternative fashion subcultures, but also dress up and express themselves more comfortably, surrounded by like minded people.
