Fashion Hacktivism
Event description
In partnership with AUT Fashion Department, and sponsorship from Regal Drycleaning, Drapers Fabrics, Belle Models, Vanish and the Cut Above Academy, Dove Hospice & Wellness are proud to bring you 'Fashion Hacktivism'.
Designed to showcase AUT's 'Fashion Hacktivism goes Big' upcycling project, a student project created in collaboration with Dove to focus on giving new life to damaged second-hand clothing.
This event is held at the gorgeous Kings Plant Barn cafe and will include a fashion show from the AUT student upcycling project, an interactive styling workshop by Jess Raffills from The Finders Life, boutique preloved clothing sale... plus refreshments, nibbles and spot prizes.
Come and be inspired to choose secondhand over new and support those in your local community living with a life-threatening illness.
