FAT MUSES X THE BEARDED TIT
Pack your pencils and join us in drawing some fat MUSES at iconic Queer bar, The Bearded Tit.
Hosted by creative fatties Sasha Rose and Tess Royale - we model, we teach, we inspire, we hang out nude with you on a Thursday night.
General Info:
- The event runs on the main stage from 6:00 pm (til approximately 9:00 pm)
- All drawing abilities are welcome. Sasha will be around to help give guidance, if wanted.
- Absolutely do not photograph MUSES without their express consent.
- We pay fatties first! All MUSES are paid for their work.
- We will be working with new MUSES each session; fresh inspiration every month.
- Some clipboards, paper, and charcoal will be available to borrow on the night but totally bring what you enjoy using!

People of all shapes and sizes are made to feel shitty about their bods through the evil talons of patriarchy, capitalism, diet culture, anti-fatness, and the like. When we look at the intersection of specifically BODY SIZE - fat people suffer more than other body size groups. And I don't just mean people who "feel" fat - fat is not an emotion, people! I mean people who live in big, fat, juicy bodies. Big guts. Rippled thighs. Bonus chins. The fatter someone is, the meaner mainstream society is to that person. This is called WEIGHT STIGMA. So fuck that - amirite?! Here at Fat Muses, we CELEBRATE our fatties. We invite people of all shapes, sizes, artistic abilities to come and admire, and see, and learn, and draw our unique, fat, amazing models. No, not models - MUSES.
