Father–Son Connection Session with Dr Arne Rubinstein OAM

For fathers, father‑figures and high‑school aged boys

Friday 4 September | 4:00–6:30pm Berrima Public School

BBQ included | Alcohol‑free event

Raising boys today is both a privilege and a challenge. They’re growing up in a world full of fast‑moving influences, big emotions, shifting expectations and constant digital noise — and many dads are looking for grounded, practical ways to stay connected, guide their sons and help them grow into confident, respectful young men.

This session is designed exactly for that moment.

Join Dr Arne Rubinstein OAM — Australian Father of the Year 2025, internationally recognised expert in adolescent development and founder of The Rites of Passage Institute, for a powerful, interactive workshop created specifically for fathers and their high‑school aged sons. Arne has spent more than 30 years helping families navigate the transition from boyhood to young adulthood, and his approach is warm, honest and deeply relatable.

What makes this event special

This is not a lecture — it’s an experience.

Arne brings fathers and sons together in a way that strengthens trust, communication and understanding. Through guided activities, shared reflections and practical tools, dads and boys learn how to connect more deeply, communicate more openly and build the kind of relationship that supports boys as they grow into capable, grounded young men.

What you’ll experience:

Simple ways to strengthen father–son connection in everyday life
Tools for navigating big emotions, tricky behaviour and growing independence
Language that helps boys feel seen, supported and safe
Insights into the transition from boy psychology to young man psychology
Activities that build respect, confidence and mutual understanding
A shared experience that deepens the bond between fathers and sons

Warm, engaging and backed by decades of work with families around the world, Arne offers guidance that feels both practical and transformative — the kind of tools families remember long after the session ends.

Who this event is for

Fathers, step‑fathers, grandfathers, uncles, mentors and father‑figures — attending with high‑school aged boys. Perfect for families wanting to strengthen connection, build communication and support boys through the transition into adolescence.
