It's Still A Secret welcomes the much-anticipated single launch of 'I Know More' by the sensational Favourite Kid.
Favourite Kid are a dynamic sibling trio who have bounced onto Queensland’s indie-folk and pop music scene with influences from Mumford & Sons, George Ezra and The Lumineers. It all started over five years ago when older brother, Ethan started writing and recording his own songs as Aspy Jones and then talked his sister, Jaimie and brother, Saul into joining him. Favourite Kid have already graced the renowned stages at many festivals including Woodford Folk Festival, Mitchell Creek Rock and Blues Fest, Undercover Artist Festival and the Gympie Music Muster and their exceptional talent earned them a Limelight Award when they played at the Caloundra Music Festival.
Olivia Ruth has been a rising star in the music industry for over a decade. Olivia Ruth is renowned for delivering electrifying live performances that captivate audiences and leave them in sheer awe. With a rich portfolio of music that spans various genres, Olivia Ruth's upcoming releases in 2024 promise a fusion of beloved classics and fresh, exhilarating tracks. Her signature sound embodies the essence of blues in its myriad forms: soulful, gritty, raw, elegant, and undeniably tasty.
20-year-old Maddison Kate is a local indie-folk singer-songwriter. Growing up in the nurturing community of Eumundi, she began writing songs and performing these at local open mic nights from the age of 10. She has since performed at festivals including the Gympie Music Muster, Eumundi Off Beat Festival, Queensland Music Festival, as well as at various venues and weddings across Queensland. She has also been part of multiple competitions, including being a semi-finalist for the 2023 Listen Up Songwriting Prize. Inspired greatly by artists like Missy Higgins and Phoebe Bridgers, Maddison aims to explore truths of the human experience through her expressive songwriting and earthy tones. Currently, she has two original songs on multiple streaming platforms.
