YASS, NSW (2582) ~ Meanjin
YASS, NSW (2582) is the duo project of Meanjin-based artists Yvette Ofa Agapow and Skylar Sansome. Yvette Ofa Agapow is an experimental musician working at the intersection of noise, ambient, drone music and acoustic vocal and percussion improvisation. Combining these musical tendencies with an intentional approach to presentation and performance, she interrogates her personal relationship to pain, catharsis and feminine subjectivity. Skylar Sansome is an improviser, percussionist and composer interested in ecological musics, movement, installation and the intersection of these. Having collaborated for over 4 years, this is the duo's debut tour.
