The 'Flora Carbo Percussion Ensemble' leads four Wednesday's in September at HIGH NOTE promising groove, stillness, patience and motion.

Featuring the finest of Melbourne's improvising community: Helen Svoboda, Maddison Carter, Sofia Carbonara, Iran Sanadzadeh, Joey Batrouney, Zela Papageorgiou, Jenny Barnes, Myka Wallace, Nat Grant, Adam Halliwell, Kyrie Anderson, Ollie Cox.

Flora Carbo is a saxophonist, composer and music leader from Naarm (Melbourne, Australia). Her unique practice creates novel musical environments that connect people through improvisation, composition and conceptual works, led by her explorations into the vocal qualities of the alto saxophone.
