Lake Crook Mouth:
Floating between a DJ and a punk band, a beat-maker and a folk singer, Lock Campbell channels his eclectic creativity into a one-man experience named after the Gaelic translation of his name, Lake Crook Mouth.
A product of guitar riffs, miscellaneous keys and driving drums, Lake Crook Mouth’s debut EP, Free to Experiment combines years of musical exploration, discovery and wonder. Written, recorded and mixed in his home-made studio, Lock embodies the independent artist with cheeky charisma, soaring melodies and thought-provoking lyrics.
Employing the guitars of rock, the rhythms of rap and the immersive soundscapes of Big Beat EDM, Lake Crook Mouth is not fit for one genre, and that’s ok. What you get from Lake Crook Mouth is a reassuring hand on the shoulder, inviting you on a journey you didn’t know you wanted or knew even existed. Until now.
