Feast of Friendship
Event description
Friendship keeps us healthy. It is also a common thread in the myriad approaches of creative arts therapy. This intimate creative gathering will follow the thread of friendship to offer a taste of creative arts therapy to any curious grown-ups.
Participants will enjoy a buffet of art and craft materials as well as found objects. With gentle guidance and a touch of playfulness, each participant will gradually open their senses and feast on different materials in order to unfold their unique process of befriending in the here now.
There will be space for both individual making and contemplating, as well as group activities through various modes of expression such as visual art, movement, voice, and words. In the realm of creative arts therapy, there is nothing to learn but plenty to uncover and to befriend. Everyone is welcome to come unprepared and ready to explore.
