Rock Steady Farm is excited to host FEAST, for our second consecutive year, a gathering of donors, stewards, & community members rooted in abundance, queer joy, and community.

Please join us on October 17th at our farm to FEAST FOR OUR FUTURE.

Rock Steady Farm has been training queer, trans, and BIPOC farmers in the Hudson Valley for over 10 years. At the heart of our work is growing culturally relevant food for our communities in the Hudson Valley and NYC. And although we give away 75% of the food we grow, we are not able to keep up with the demand of our communities who are reeling from compound crises of federal cuts, climate destruction, and sky rocketing cost of living. We work to make land accessible to farmers intent on soil-first, regenerative practices, and who treat the earth and community with reverence. We are an ecosystem multiplier, gathering, protecting, and working alongside other farms and community-centered projects across the state to build resilient, just food systems and life-affirming networks.

Rock Steady brings dignity to the beauty and resilience of queer, trans, and Black, Indigenous, and global majority farmers and how we tend to land and share our resources.

Please join us to FEAST for our future. A future of abundance where farmers are thriving, queer joy is felt from the country side to the city, and our actions are rooted in reverence for the earth.

We will tour the farm, sharing with you in the beauty of our land and dreaming into our abundant future. We will be nourished by Harana Market, from Chef Chris Mauricio, who will utilize fresh produce from our farm rooted in homestyle flavors and the generous spirit of the Filipino Diaspora. We will sip on the elixirs of neighboring farms, who we have built kinship and bond with in our 11 years on this land. We will listen to music from DJ BKP and hear melodic words from beautiful, queer visionary artists and entertainers in our community. And, we will hear from people like you - a big thank you to Irene Banning and Kolu Zigbi who will be speaking on behalf of our long standing donor community about what our work means to them.
