    Join Tink for a technique workshop on the art of feather fans. We will be learning new tricks and combinations for manipulating our feathery friends to create interest and the appearance of ease and grace to the tricks.

    Fans are a hypnotic and extravagant prop that can dramatically enhance and create visually stunning movement. In this workshop you will learn to be playful, graceful and flirty with your feather fans and gain knowledge on how you can put them to use in a variety of act stylings.

    Book to attend and bring your own burlesque feather fans or hire a set of Muse student feather fans. Limited fans available so book early!

    What: Open Level 
    When: Saturday 4th November from 2.30pm-4pm
    Bring: Water, sweat towel, feather fans if you own some
    Wear: Comfortable clothes you can move in. Activewear welcome. Shoes/ heels optional
    Cost:
     $40 per person or $50 including fan hire - POC and hardship rates available upon request.

    About Tink:

    Scarlet Tinkabelle is Brisbane's own firey fairy who will entice and excite you. From humble beginnings they have grown into a formidable force of burlesque, sideshow and the art of fire performance.

    Headmistressmaster of The Vaudeville Consortium, Producer of The Consortium, Sideshow Femmes, Sideshow Themmes alongside assistant curator at The Lok & Kee Experience Toowoomba.

    Tink specializes in fusion art in both performance and tutelage. With a deep love of learning and combining skills not often produced together, this creates a unique and quirkiness to their pieces.

    Muse School of Burlesque:

    The Muse School of Burlesque operates primarily in the Sutherland Shire and Illawarra, with special events and classes in Sydney. Muse aims to bring exciting and preeminent burlesque performers to teach their unique skills and insights, providing a rounded and diverse experiences to benefit its students growth and understanding of burlesque.

    Muse School of Burlesque acknowledges the traditional custodians of the land we dance on, the Gadigal People of the Eora Nation, and pay our respects to their Elders past and present. Sovereignty was never ceded. Always was, always will be Aboriginal land. First Nations people interested in learning burlesque are encouraged to contact Muse School of Burlesque to discuss assistance available to help them access classes.
