In this intimate small-group circle, you will be guided through The Marikai Way - a feather wand creation process that has evolved organically through years of working with feathers, driftwood, crystals and ceremonial symbolism.

Please arrive 5-10 minutes early to settle into the space
We will begin together at 9:00am

Cooler months: overhead heating is provided - bring a shawl or small blanket if you feel the cold

✨ About the Space
This circle is held within my sacred home space on the Gold Coast, in a beautiful outdoor undercover area designed to feel grounded, welcoming and creative.
The space includes overhead heating and outdoor blinds for comfort during the cooler months, while still allowing connection to nature and fresh air throughout the day - intentionally supporting the use of adhesives and pyrography (wood burning) within the creative process.
You may also meet my very friendly staffy Nori on arrival.

- What if I feel unsure about my creative ability on the day?
This is completely normal, and you are not alone in feeling this way.
The circle is designed to gently guide you out of overthinking and into intuitive creation. There is no right or wrong outcome - only what feels meaningful for you.
Many participants arrive unsure and leave feeling deeply connected to their creativity and intuition.
- What if I've never done anything creative like this before?
You do not need any artistic or creative experience to take part.
This is a guided, intuitive process - not about perfection or technical skill.
You will be supported step-by-step throughout the day, with space to slow down, explore, and trust your natural creativity as it unfolds.
- Is this a religious event?
No.
This is a creative and intuitive experience, not a religious event.
People from all belief systems (or none) are welcome. The focus is on creativity, symbolism, nature connection and personal meaning
- Can I come alone?
Yes - many people do.
This is a small, welcoming circle where everyone is encouraged to connect naturally throughout the day. You will be supported in a calm, inclusive space, and there is no pressure to be anything other than yourself.
- Can teenagers attend?
Teenagers may attend if accompanied by a paying adult, and if they feel comfortable engaging in a full-day creative experience.
Please note the workshop involves tools such as glue, rotary cutters and wood burning equipment under guidance.
- What style of feather wand will I make?
Each wand is completely unique and guided by your intuition.
You will create a ceremonial feather wand using feathers, driftwood, crystals and symbolic elements.
No two wands are ever the same each one reflects the individual energy, choices and intention of its creator.
- What should I bring?
Everything you need for the creative process is provided on the day.
You are welcome to bring:
A water bottle (filtered water available for refills)
Your lunch (fridge, microwave and oven facilities are available)
A shawl or small blanket in cooler months if you feel the cold
Any personal feathers or crystals you would like to include (optional and must be pre-sanitised)
Most importantly, bring yourself exactly as you are - open, curious, and ready to create.
- What time does the day start and finish?
The Feather Wand Creative Circle runs from 9:00am to approximately 4:30pm.
Please arrive 5-10 minutes before to get settled into the space so we can begin as a group at 9am and set the tone for the day.
It is a full-day immersive experience with breaks built in throughout.
- Is food provided?
Tea, coffee, morning tea and afternoon tea are provided.
You will need to bring your own lunch. You are welcome to store food in the fridge, or use the microwave or oven facilities on site.
If you have specific dietary requirements, please bring what you need to feel comfortable and nourished.
- Where is the workshop held and is parking available?
The circle is held in a private, sacred home space on the Gold Coast in a protected outdoor undercover area.

- What happens if I can't attend after booking?
If you are unable to attend, you can cancel your booking online up to 7 days prior with a full refund.
Within the 7 day period of the event, tickets are non-refundable, however you may be able to transfer your spot to another person or attend a future circle (subject to availability).
- I want to bring my own feathers, how do I sanitise them?
You are welcome to bring your own feathers if they have been properly cleaned beforehand.
We recommend:
Freezing for 24-48 hours to remove pests
Washing gently with a mild detergent
Allowing them to fully dry
Optional light steam sanitising if suitable
This ensures they are safe to use within the creative process.
