• Where does it start?

  We’ll meet at The Moss Hotel in Hobart.

  Full address and access details will be sent closer to the date.

• What is the mode of transport for the tour?

  The day involves a fair amount of walking around Hobart, a mini bus to neighbouring towns with walking at each stop.

  Comfortable shoes are essential.

• Is food included?

  Most food is included in your ticket.

  At dinner one wine or beer per person is included.

  What is NOT included is:

  -Breakfast on day one (coffee and pastries provided at 10:30am)

  -Breakfast on day three as this is your free time to walk around Salamanca market

• How many people are on the tour?

  This is a small, intimate group of 14 guests maximum, hosted by Jono Fleming and Lucy Gough.

• What's included in my ticket?

  The styling retreat ticket cost includes:

  Accomodation for Thursday and Friday nights.

  A mini-bus to get to the neighbouring towns we are visiting for shopping and activities

  Food included is:

  Day one: mid-morning tea and pastries, lunch and dinner

  Day two: breakfast, lunch and dinner

  Day three: lunch and dinner

  At lunch and dinner two alcoholic beverages (wine or beer) are included per meal.

  Everything else you see on the itinerary is included

• What's not included?

  • Flights to and from Tasmania

  • Personal shopping purchases

  • Any deliveries arranged with stores

  • Additional food or drinks to what’s listed above (i.e coffees or snacks outside of meal times)

  • Accommodation if you arrive the night before (Wednesday night is not included)

  • Airport transfers

• Where will we be dining?

  We will share the itinerary via email ahead of the tour, after you have booked your ticket. The restaurants will not disappoint!

  Dietary requirements will be collected in advance.

• Can I buy things on the tour?

  Absolutely. Many guests do.

  We recommend arranging delivery through the store for larger items where possible.

• Is this tour suitable for non-designers?

  Yes, absolutely.

  This tour is ideal for anyone who loves interiors, is renovating, furnishing a home, or wants insider styling insight.

• Will there be photography and filming?

  Yes. Photography and short video clips may be captured throughout the day for social media.

  If you prefer not to be photographed, just let us know on the day and we’ll respect that.

• What should I bring?

  • Comfortable walking shoes

  • A crossbody or backpack-style bag

  • Phone or notebook for notes and photos

  • A camera or smart phone to take photos on

  • Weather-appropriate clothing

• What happens if it rains?

  This retreat will proceed rain or shine.

  Please bring an umbrella if rain is forecast.

  In the event of extreme or unsafe weather conditions (such as torrential rain, severe storms, or conditions that make walking unsafe), we may adjust the route, substitute stops, delay the start time, or reschedule the tour.

• Are tickets refundable?

  Refund Policy

  This retreat will proceed rain, hail or shine. In the event of extreme or unsafe weather conditions (including severe storms, flooding or conditions that make travel or walking unsafe), we reserve the right to modify the itinerary, substitute experiences, adjust timings or reschedule parts of the retreat where necessary.

  If the retreat cannot proceed in a meaningful way due to circumstances beyond our control, guests will be offered a transfer to a rescheduled retreat date or a credit towards a future retreat. Refunds will only be provided if the retreat is cancelled entirely by the organisers.

  A non-refundable deposit of $1,000 per ticket applies to all bookings.

  Cancellations made in writing more than 14 days prior to the retreat commencement date are eligible for a refund of monies paid, less the non-refundable $1,000 deposit.

  Cancellations made within 14 days of the retreat commencement date are non-refundable.

  No refunds will be provided for non-attendance, late arrival, early departure or unused portions of the retreat.

• Is there any risk involved?

  This is a walking tour through public spaces and retail environments. Guests participate at their own risk and are responsible for their own belongings.

• Who do I contact on the day?

  You’ll receive a mobile contact number the week before the tour for any urgent questions.

  We can't wait to welcome you to the retreat!

• Minimum number of guests

  To ensure the retreat remains a high-quality experience and to cover the costs of accommodation, transport and exclusive experiences, a minimum of 10 guests is required for the retreat to proceed.

  If the minimum number of bookings has not been reached by the advertised confirmation date, the retreat may be cancelled. In this unlikely event, all guests will be notified promptly and will receive a full refund of any monies paid.

  We recommend waiting for confirmation from us before booking non-refundable flights or additional travel arrangements.

• Terms and Conditions

  Terms & Conditions

  By purchasing a ticket to the Tasmania Styling Retreat, you agree to the following terms and conditions.
  

  Deposit & Payment

  A non-refundable deposit of $1,000 per person is required to secure your place.
  

  The remaining balance must be paid by the date specified by Humanitix. Failure to pay the remaining balance by the due date may result in your booking being cancelled and your deposit forfeited.

  A full 100% refund will be given (including deposit) if the organisers cancel the retreat.

  Cancellations by Guests + transfers

  The $1,000 deposit is non-refundable under all circumstances, including change of mind, illness, travel disruptions or inability to attend.

  • Cancellations made more than 90 days prior to departure will receive a refund of all payments made, excluding the non-refundable deposit.

  • Cancellations made between 90 and 60 days prior to departure will forfeit 50% of the total retreat fee.

  • Cancellations made within 60 days of departure are non-refundable.

  Should you be unable to attend, you are welcome to transfer your place to another guest, subject to approval by the retreat organisers.

  Travel Insurance

  We strongly recommend that all guests obtain comprehensive travel insurance to cover cancellation, illness, injury, flight disruptions and other unforeseen circumstances.

  Minimum Numbers

  The retreat requires a minimum number of guests to proceed.
  

  Should minimum numbers not be reached, guests will be notified and any monies paid, including deposits, will be refunded in full.
  

  The organisers are not responsible for any external costs incurred by guests, including flights, travel arrangements or accommodation booked outside the retreat.
  

  Changes to Itinerary

  While every effort will be made to deliver the retreat as advertised, the organisers reserve the right to alter the itinerary, venues, guest experiences, restaurants, accommodation, timing or inclusions where necessary due to weather, venue availability, operational requirements or circumstances beyond our control.
  

  Any substitutions will be of a similar standard wherever possible.
  

  Organiser Cancellation

  In the unlikely event that the retreat is cancelled by the organisers, guests will receive a full refund of monies paid.
  

  The organisers are not liable for any additional expenses incurred, including flights, travel costs, accommodation or other personal expenses.
  

  Responsibility

  Guests participate in the retreat at their own risk and are responsible for ensuring they are physically able to participate in the activities included.
  

  The organisers accept no responsibility for personal injury, loss, theft, damage to personal belongings or any costs arising from circumstances outside their control.

  Photography & Content

  Photography and video may be captured during the retreat for promotional purposes. By attending, guests consent to the use of imagery in future marketing materials unless otherwise advised in writing prior to the event.

  Dietary Requirements

  Reasonable efforts will be made to accommodate dietary requirements provided in advance. However, we cannot guarantee that all dietary preferences or allergies can be catered for by third-party venues.
