Event description
Developed in 2013 by the William Glasser Institute, this course is facilitated by Sue Berry and Christine Duffield who are accredited with the Institute.
Join Sue and Christine, on behalf of Mentally Fit EP, to learn new ways to look after your own wellbeing!
Take Charge of Your Life focuses on understanding why we do the things that we do; how to make choices that bring us closer to the people who are important to us and also to the things we most yearn for in our lives. The course offers the following six sessions:
- Shift your Mental Model
- Discover your Basic Needs, Wants and Beliefs
- Create Positive Relationship Habits
- Learn the Power of Perception
- Understand the Four Components of Behaviour
- Take Charge of Your Life
The day will be:
- Fun, Interactive Format
- Include morning and afternoon tea. Please bring your own lunch - there will be a 1 hour break
- Small group of no more than 12
- All materials will be provided
- Free of charge
- Youth Hub
The course will be held at the Port Lincoln Youth Hub, which you will find on Tolmer Lane behind the Lincoln Cinema. There is plenty of parking available.
