FED UP? Fair Enough!
Description
Massive Politics in the Pub event, hosted by Raushaan Seychell from Toilet Paper Australia, with special guests Ellen Sandell, Max Chandler-Mather & Steph Hodgins-May
Remember free PT? Remember when they froze rents? What about when a beer cost less than $15?
Everything is getting harder and more expensive all the time, meanwhile our resources and public land are being given away basically for free. You’re getting screwed!
We could have great stuff like rent caps, free PT forever, no stamp duty, free tafe & uni - but Labor are choosing not to. They’ve got their hands full keeping their banking, gambling, fossil fuel, property developer (the list goes on…) mates happy. They’ve forgotten they work for YOU.
In November, we can sort this out. It’s time your politicians worked for your interests. It’s time we demand better.
If you want to know what YOU can do to get your hands back on the steering wheel, we want to see you at our Town Hall on Wednesday 5th August at Welcome to Thornbury. Raushaan from Toilet Paper Australia and guests are going to get stuck into what the hell is going on in politics right now, and how important this moment is.
Melbourne is the best city - we’ve got the best arts, music, sports, parks and more. It’s also where progress happens. At the state election, let’s keep the progress coming.
